It took us that long to come up with laser cut IR patches, because we could not find a manufacturer in America or Europe (we don't even bother looking in Canada any longer. We once had current patches made in Quebec many years ago, the quality was so despicable, we destroyed most and sold the few barely acceptable remaining patches at an insane discount). But we finally got a company in Europe that could make these patches, so finally, they are available.
