FORN SIDR Trademark Registered in the U.S.

With the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office

Following our legal victory against “Forn Sidr of America” in U.S. Courts, the U.S. Patents and Trademarks Office has registered FORN SIDR as a trademark in the United States, granting the name legal protection in the U.S.

The FORN SIDR name was already registered, and thus protected, as a trademark in Norway. A trademark application is currently also pending in Canada.

The registration by the USPTO was much faster than the minimum 6 months we had anticipated following court ruling in our favor, suggesting that the government agency was significantly aggravated by “Forn Sidr of America” frivolous claims.
