A review (or warning?): You'll eat vegan kebab, you'll be stranded and you'll be happy!

Our relationship with Air France (and inherently KLM, more about this later) started a week before the airline industry abruptly came to a halt in 2020 over what was believed to be the COVID pandemic. We needed to fly with Little Håkon commercially from Oslo to Vancouver, BC, Canada. For safety reasons, we could only do one flight segment at a time (so the pup would not be lost in transit somewhere). There is no direct flights from Oslo to Canada or even Vancouver. Even flights from Europe to Vancouver were limited. We could not transit in Iceland, as they literally kill dogs who are missing any paperwork (a risk we were not willing to take). We could not fly through London, as the Brits had quarantines for pups. And we certainly, absolutely, decisively could not fly through Amsterdam as we knew KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines) for one primary event: Dumping 440 imported squirrels, still alive, into an industrial meat-processing machine, because they missed some paperwork.
